Once downloaded, where does the file end up on my device?

The video downloaded fine but there is no sound. What happened?
This is almost always a music licensing thing. Instagram mutes or restricts audio on Reels that use copyrighted songs in certain countries. Before assuming it is a bug, open the Reel directly on Instagram and see if the audio plays there. If it is already muted on Instagram's side, that is the cause and there is nothing we can do about it on our end.
Is downloading Instagram Reels legal?
